A combined/multimodal/transport bill of lading must be transformed into a negotiable marine bill of lading by adding an "on board" notation indicating ocean vessel name, date. and port of loading at the time the cargo loading on board the vessel. A credit stipulates shipment is to be effected from Houston to Xiamen, China. Multimodal transport is acceptable. On board date: 11 July, 2004.
